A man accused of possession of drugs was taken to court and was fined with €90 after being found guilty of possessing cocaine.
The accused was arrested in October 2014 during a police raid in Paceville. Officials found small bags of cocaine in the man’s wallet as well as another small amount between the mobile and mobile cover. A false €100 note was found along with a sum amounting to €380. Three similar small bags were found close to where he was arrested, but he denied responsibility of them.
The police said that the accused was disobeying orders regarding the time he should have returned home. The orders were given to him on bail earlier. The man has three pending cases in court.
He denied selling drugs and simply said that it was in his possession for personal use. He was found guilty of possession of cocaine and was ordered to pay a fine of €90.
