Leanne Bartolo, who last year won the coveted European Bikini Fitness Championship and is one of Malta’s leading personal trainers, will soon be launching an online fitness and lifestyle brand.
Aside from being the reigning WWF champion, Bartolo also owns Warehouse Fitness Studio, where she shares her passion for health and fitness as an instructor and personal trainer. Furthermore, she is a primary school teacher, and is planning her forthcoming wedding.
Bartolo’s own packed daily schedule inspired the creation of the new brand, which is rooted in her belief that health and fitness should be accessible to everyone, regardless of how busy their lifestyle may be or what commitments they may have.
“Not everyone can make it to the Warehouse Studio in Gzira for weekly classes, afford a gym membership, or have time to make healthy decisions in terms of nutrition,” explains Bartolo, “I wanted to create something that will help people to reach their health and fitness goals – a useful online resource that they can use throughout their day, as and when it is convenient to them. So, I’ve put my school teaching career on hold, and I’m focusing on launching the brand this year.”
The exclusive lifestyle and fitness content will be made available to users via online platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, and will include an on-going series of professionally-produced workout videos that will allow Ms Bartolo to train viewers in their own living rooms. Bartolo will also share insights into her own lifestyle choices, from nutrition and fashion to her own training schedules and personal goals, as an additional source of inspiration for fans.
While carving out a new niche in Malta’s sports scene through her success in international World Fitness Federation competitions, Bartolo is already fast becoming a household name due to the popularity of Warehouse Fitness Studio, and informal sponsorships and endorsements that have spotlighted her outgoing personality.
“I’ve been very lucky with my career in fitness so far, and 2020 will be no different, since I’ll be competing in many local and international sporting events throughout this year’s packed calendar,” Bartolo continues. “There’s also a series of personal and professional goals I’m aiming to smash this year, and I can’t wait to share my journey via the brand and hopefully inspire others to smash their goals too!”
