Deputy Leader of the Partit Nazzjonalista, David Agius, called on all those who have suffered from power cuts to join forces and make their voices heard. He promised all the support of the Partit Nazzjonalista to those who demand that the Labour government does them justice and give them compensation.
The Opposition demanded the publishing of all the facts explaining why so many areas around Malta, and sometimes all of Malta and Gozo, ended up without electricity. Agius said that the people have a right to know the truth.
He described the LNG tanker in Marsaxlokk as a ‘symbol of corruption’ and ‘a failed project’.
Agius referred to the reports on the social media that the power station is facing serious problems and that the problem will be compounded as more workers return to work next week.
The Deputy Leader of the PN voiced his indignation about the Prime Minister’s “silence” throughout this crisis and appealed to Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne to publish the facts, thereby allowing the Maltese to discover the truth behind what is currently cloaked in mystery.
