  1. 225gr Rye Flour
  2. 225gr Strong White Flour
  3. 1 pkt Yeast
  4. 25gr butter
  5. 250ml Water
  6. 50gr Parmesan cheese
  7. Egg-wash
  8. Sesame seeds
  9. Salt


1. I begin by combining the rye flour, white flour, dry yeast and salt. Make a well in the middle, and add the lukewarm water and the melted butter.

2. Combine all the ingredients until the dough starts to form and knead for 10 minutes until the dough is nice and smooth. Place in a clean and oiled bowl, and cover. Let the dough rise for about 90 minutes until it doubles in size.

3. Once done, knead again for about 10 minutes and then split the dough into roughly equal rolls. Then add the sesame seeds on top. Cover the rolls again with a clean tea towel and let them rise again for another hour. Before baking in a preheated 200C oven, brush the egg wash on top.
