As of next Monday, road works will start on Triq l-Imġarr in Nadur, so as to be rebuilt afresh. This was announced by the Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana.
A press release detailed that the project will include the rebuilding of the road, security systems placed so as to decrease risk of incidents, and facilities for underground services to run smoothly.
The Minister explained that this road is being given its due importance, as it was in a sorry state. Nadur’s Mayor Edward Said said that as a local council, they had long been complaining about this road. He also appealed for residents to use alternative routes as proposed by Transport Malta.
