Watch: The passion, crucifixion at the time of coronavirus

LIVE discussion at 10am

Tista' taqra bil- Malti.

Viktor Frankl wrote that to live as a human is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in suffering. Does the passion of Christ, his death and resurrection help us find meaning in the world around us which has been brought to its knees by coronavirus?

Can humanity whose dreams and aspirations are being turned into ashes find any hope or consolation in the Easter Triduum? Does the reading of the passion narrative in the Gospel of St John help us cope with the crisis that besieges us?

All this and more will be discussed today, on Good Friday, during a special edition of Newsbook Hour on 103 Malta’s Heart and Newsbook between 10am and 11am.

Fr Joe Borg leads a discussion with Bishop Mario Grech, Dr Anna Vella, who works with drug addicts and prostitutes, and Carmen Zammit who studied the Gospel of St John as part of her masters in theology.
