During an emotional sermon, Archbishop Charles Scicluna said that the profound experience being celebrated today is the Lord’s attempt to relieve his children from evil and protects them.
This was the Archbishop’s main message during the celebration Solemnity of St. Peter and St. Paul’s mass at the Mdina Cathedral.
The Archbishop drew a number of lessons both from St. Peter and St. Paul to show that the Christian belief is God’s relief from fever.
He explained that St. Peter himself experienced God’s love when he was released from prison and told Herod himself the Lord sent an angel and released him.
