Tista' taqra bil- Malti.
A protest demanding Justice for Lassana Cisse is being organised in Valletta this afternoon.
The protest is expected to start at 6 pm and will take place in front of the House of Representatives.
Cisse was killed in April last year while walking in Hal Far. He was shot by two AFM soldiers.
The protest is being organised by the Black Lives Matter Movement. The Movement aims to connect black people from all over the world who have a shared desire for justice. A desire to come together to fight state-sanctioned violence and anti-black racism.
Cisse Souleymane, 42, was killed on the 6th of April 2019 when he was walking towards the Ħal Far open centre. Two people who back then were members of the Armed Forces of Malta are accused of murdering the father of two. Lorin Scicluna, 22, and Francesco Fenech,21, are also being charged with attempted murder after they allegedly shot two other black men in the same street. The two men survived.
Scicluna and Fenech are currently undergoing a trial by jury and are out on bail.
