Watch: Daphne remembered in Brussels as second anniversary of assassination approaches

A photo exhibition was inaugurated today at the European Parliament featuring photos from vigils, protests as well as poignant moments of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s funeral in Malta. This exhibition was organised by EPP Queastor and MEP David Casa.

The opening of this exhibition was attended by several Maltese activists and MEPs from a wide gamut of political parties in the EP. MEP Casa thanked MEPs Stelios Kouloglou and Christian Terhes, describing them as MEPs who are committed to the European values.

Casa also thanked Tom Gibson from the Committee to Protect Journalists whom, he described as a tireless worker for the protection of journalists around the globe. He also thanked activist Pia Zammit for her sterling work.

The photo exhibition will remain open throughout this week in the European Parliament in Brussels.
