In the current academic year, the Lifelong Learning Centre is offering courses to a total of 8,600 students. Practically all academic courses, 197 in all, have switched to online teaching under the care of 86 educators.
Minister for Education and Employment Owen Bonnici visited the main centre for lifelong learning in Msida in order to join in on an online lecture. Bonnici stressed the importance of adult education, as it grants an added opportunity for people to further their studies and, consequently, their careers.
Minister Bonnici also thanked the staff at the LifeLong Learning Centre for their commitment and dedication.
