“Let the Archbishop do his work”

On Sunday, members of the general public were invited to give their Christmas greetings to Archbishop Charles Scicluna, Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea Curmi and Archbishop Emeritus Paul Cremona.

Many of the people present gave their thanks for the work the bishops are doing as leaders of the Catholic Church, while others showed their concern at the fact that the Archbishop, as Head of the Catholic Church, sometimes finds ‘obstacles’ that prevent him from doing his work effectively.

Among those who came to give their greetings was Fr John Xerri, a priest who has lived in Brazil since 1974, as well as several people from different religious orders and workers within the Maltese Archdiocese.
