KSU collects over €13,000 from parking permit tariff

The University Students’ Council (KSU) collected €13,620 from parking tariffs at the University of Malta. This was collected over three months as part of the Green Fund campaign asking for €3 from every student who applied for a parking permit at the University.

The KSU had said that this money will be going to alternative transport plans to get to the University. In a Facebook post, the KSU announced the details of the first initiative using this money, which is a 50% subsidy on motorbike lessons.

The Green Fund was announced by the KSU during last October’s Freshers’ Week with the aim of creating a more environmental awareness among University students.
