Ex-Minister Konrad Mizzi was back in Parliament again tonight. He was seen shaking Speaker Anġlu Farrugia’s hand on camera.
Parliament kicked off with Farrugia detailing that the Labour Party’s (PL) Whip Glenn Bedingfield had informed the speaker that Mizzi is no longer forming part of the Labour Parliamentary Group. Farrugia added that he received a letter from Mizzi himself on 27th June, which detailed that he will remain loyal to the PL.
Prime Minister Robert Abela had said that 71 out of 73 voters voted Mizzi out. Someone abstained, while the other voted against. The vote was anonymous, and Mizzi was present virtually since he was in quarantine.
