KNŻ to be represented on Youth Advisory Council

Sean Ellul will represent the National Youth Council, KNŻ, on the Youth Advisory Council of the Council of Europe.

KNŻ announced the new appointment in a statement on Tuesday.

The Youth Advisory Council is a body which works within the Council of Europe and that aims to establish the standards and priorities of the youth sector. It is currently focusing on improving access to human rights, youth participation and youth work, and increasing peaceful and inclusive societies.

KNŻ has described the appointment as an opportunity to play a major role in securing the rights of European youths, by pushing these issues to the front of the agenda as all decisions made by the Youth Department of the Council of Europe are co-managed by Youth Representatives and Ministers, within the Council of Europe, of all Member States.

Robert Napier is also serving on the council.
