Justice and Peace Commission to hold discussion over its proposals ahead of elections

The Church’s Justice and Peace Commission is organising a dialogue event where a document prepared by the Commission will be discussed.

The event will be held on Tuesday 23 April at Dar Ħanin Samaritan in Santa Venera and will start at 6.30pm.

In March the Commission had launched its proposals in a booklet, in which the Commission had called for an agreed mandatory target for the European Union to measure and reduce food waste, among other proposals.

The discussion of the proposed document aims at fostering a spirit of healthy political dialogue ahead of the European Parliament elections.

The four main political parties will be represented at the event, together with leaders of church movements and organisations.
