“It’s none of your business” – imprisoned for two months

A man accused of indecently exposing himself to detention officers and throwing a bottle at them was imprisoned for two months for contempt of court after telling the Magistrate that it was none of his business.

The man refused to speak to his defence counsel, leaving the his lawyer without any option other than not being able to present the defence at law. He also refused psychiatric help.

Magistrate Joseph Mifsud is presiding over the case which will continue in October.
