Minister for Education Evarist Bartolo said that believes in the proverb that goes ‘it takes a village to raise a child’. Minister Bartolo said so during the announcement of the new annual prospectus for the Institute of Education. The aim of this institute is to provide a high level of education and build educational communities that will lead to create valid educators.
The prospectus includes the 21 different qualifying programmes that the institute offers, namely eight courses at bachelor’s level and 9 courses at masters’ level, three post-graduate certificates as well as a Master in Applied Educational Leadership (MQF 7). On top of all that the institute will also be offering 69 accredited courses.
The Chief Executive of the Institute of Education Joanne Grima stated that the institute is giving the opportunity to those already in employment who still has the ambition to become and educator to progress professionally.
The Institute of Education will be having an Open Day on Friday between 3pm and 8pm.
