Influenza vaccinations to resume as of Sunday

The influenza vaccine is to be offered for free once again as of Sunday 29th November.

During the first week (Sunday 29th till Sunday 6th), over 55s and children between 3-5 years (both ages included) are prioritised. Priority is also given to those certified of having chronic diseases. As of Monday 7th December, the general public can be vaccinated.

The vaccine is to be offered within health centres in Malta and Gozo. The health centres are open from 8am till 7pm as of Sunday.

Children of ages between 3 and 5, as well as children up to 9 years old who suffer from chronic diseases, can be vaccinated in the Mosta, Floriana and Paola health centres, along with the one in Gozo. Opening hours are between 8am and 7pm.

One must take their ID card with them, as well as certification in the case of chronic disease.
