Ġnien Duminku Mintoff has been officially inaugurated in Paola following an extensive renovation exercise costing €1,000,000. This was declared in a press release issued from the Ministry for Tourism.

Minister for Tourism Konrad Mizzi said that this open and recreational space encapsules an area of around 9,000 square metres. He also said that this is the result of a number of entities working together.

The garden now has 75 trees and over 25,000 plants and a CCTV system for security.

Minister Joe Mizzi said that the Ministry of Energy and Water Management has invested €400,000 in a water reservoir that will collect rain water that will be used to sustainably cater for the plants, trees and shrubs in the garden.
