‘Impunity has a price, Daphne was the payment’ – Fenech Adami

Tista' taqra bil- Malti.

PN Member of Parliament Beppe Fenech Adami stated that impunity requires a price, and it was paid once more through the assassination of the investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.

While he was speaking in Parliament, Fenech Adami remarked that the same impunity which led to the destruction of his family home, Partit Nazzjonalista’s Valletta, Floriana and Birkirkara clubs, as well as the torching of The Times building 40 years ago, came to life again two years ago and it resulted in the assassination of the journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.

Fenech Adami reminded the Maltese public to not forget that on the 15th of October 1979, it was protected citizens themselves who terrorised the country.

October: the month democracy is questioned

The MP appealed for everyone to stop and protest, so to avoid paying yet another high-cost for impunity.
