In a news conference at the Vatican, the director of the Vatican press office, Greg Burke accounted for the Council meeting held amidst the Cardinals last week, which was also attended Pope Francis.

The bulk of the work was dedicated to examining the draft of a new Apostolic Constitution for the Roman Curia which is entitled “Evangelium predicates”, although the title may still change.

For three whole days the group formed by eight cardinals, since one was absent – and the Pope met for two sessions a day, one in the morning and another in the evening. The Cardinals Council prepared the first draft to be submitted to His Holiness the Pope to those considerations it deems appropriate and necessary.
