Minister Ian Borg shied away from declaring any interest in some form of leadership position in the Labour Party. Replying to questions by Newsbook.com.mt, Borg said that he would be supporting Fearne’s nomination, sweeping aside comments of a ‘diabolical pact’. Borg said that the only current vacancy is that of a leader of the Party and anything else will be considered only if and when the issue arises.
