The Hugo Chetcuti murder case continued today. The Court is being presided over by Magistrate Marse-Ann Farrugia.
Various forensic experts took to the witness stand to explain the DNA samples taken from Hugo Chetchuti’s body as well as clothes that the accused was wearing on the day of the stabbing. They also confirmed that that the victim died of septicaemia which is an infection in the blood stream.

In the previous hearing of the 10th September, a number of medical health professionals and police officers took to the stand to testify about the happenings of the 6th July and the days thereafter until Hugo Chetcuti’s death.
