How to sign up for Newsbook Alerts on Whatsapp

Newsbook.com.mt has now launched a new way to get the latest news on your smartphone: we are calling it the Newsbook Alerts on WhatsApp. This is a free service using the popular messaging app will complement other efforts to deliver fair, accurate and trustworthy news in a timely manner.

What to expect: We will send you Exclusive and Breaking News articles. The Newsbook Alerts will simply alert you to a story that you might not otherwise have seen.

How to subscribe: First, make sure you have WhatsApp on your mobile device. You can download it here on the App Store for iOS or here on Google Play for Android. Then, tap the button below to add us as a contact in WhatsApp. Remember, you still have to save our contact to start receiving the Newsbook Alerts.

Otherwise, you can easily follow these steps:

  1. Save +356 9911 8400 to your phone’s contacts list
  2. Name it Newsbook
  3. In WhatsApp send START to Newsbook

If you’re not reading this on a smartphone, you can still follow the steps above, load WhatsApp on the web, and send a message with the word “START” to begin receiving updates.

How to unsubscribe: To opt-out from receiving all Newsbook Alerts, send a message with the word “STOP.”
