Foodbank Lifeline Foundation has urged all those who buy extra food items which remain unopened after their holiday trip to donate them to the foodbank.

In a Facebook post, the Foundation posted a message aimed at those who will spend their shutdown in Gozo, saying that it is ‘no secret that Maltese people tend to overdo it in terms of food bought for their holidays’.

Whilst wishing everyone happy holidays, the Foundation launched their appeal for food donations saying that every little counts.
