There is no getting around the fact that Covid-19 has thrown some hard curveballs our way, but learning organisation for performing arts Studio 18 rolled up their sleeves and tried to keep ‘business as usual’ within the new constraints.

This went so much further than just migrating all training sessions online. They stayed true to their commitment to building and enriching communities, as a team of young creatives brought Studio Spotlight daily to people’s screens, as well as masterclasses, a virtual festival, online auditions and Malta’s first virtual musical theatre concert. They also held live performances when it was safe to do so.

Now it is is your chance to get involved.

Applications for the Studio 18 training programmes are now open. You may take your pick from Creative Lab, the Musical Theatre Programme, the Acting Programme, the Playwriting Programme and the Mentorship Programme.
