Henley & Partners has won a public tender to design, implement and promote Moldova Citizenship-by-Investment (MCBI) Program.
In a press statement published on their website, the firm said it had submitted its application with the Ministry of Economy of Moldova at the of May.
According to its website the firm accumulated 20 years of experience working with various government on residence and citizenship programs.
Gantenbein from Henley & Partners said that Moldova offers its citizens visa-free access to 121 countries which include as well all the countries in the Schengen Area as well as Russia and Turkey.
The program is expected to be launched within the next three months.
Moldova will go to polls by the end of November 2018. Recent court decisions have invalidated a mayoral election.
Henley & Partners was contracted by the Government of Malta to sell Maltese citizenship back in 2014.
