Help save this dog from being put to sleep

Tista' taqra bil- Malti.

A veterinary clinic is appealing to the public to help save a dog, originally taken to the clinic to be put to sleep, by finding him an adoptive family.

On a post on Facebook, Pets & Vets Veterinary Clinic explained that the dog was taken to the clinic by his owner to be put to sleep since he is emigrating from Malta. The clinic rejected the request, and is now searching for “a loving forever home where he can live the rest of his golden years.”

The dog is a 15 year old male whippet, intact (not neutered) and vaccinated. He has a pet passport and is micro-chipped.

He is described as being “very sweet-natured, loves cuddles, and currently is understandably a bit confused due to being left behind by his owner.”

Anyone interested in adopting the dog can contact the clinic through their Facebook Page or by calling 2180 0806.
