Government payment to credit rating agencies increased in 5 years

The cost incurred by the Government to analyze the economic and financial situation through credit rating agencies is close to a quarter of a million. Finance Minister Edward Scicluna tabled this information in parliament following a parliamentary question by Opposition MP Jason Azzopardi.

According to the information tabled in parliament the Government paid €237,000 to such agencies in 2017 compared to €76,000 paid in 2013.
