Internet and other services in a sizeable swath of the country have been disrupted by a fibre cut, Go is reporting.
The company said that the cut has affected multiple services towards the south “and possibly even central areas of the island.” It said that its engineers were hard at work assessing the situation and devising the best course of action.
It confirmed that it was being flooded with calls over the disruption of services, but said that its priority was to determine the extent of the fault and restore services as soon as possible. It provided no timelines for when such a restoration would be possible.
“Rest assured that we will do our utmost to come back with updates as these are received from our tech team. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience,” the company said.
