Are you creative, innovative and want to give something back to the community to improve the COVID-19 situation?
Aġenzija Żgħażagħ is inviting young people to submit their solidarity idea which can be implemented during the COVID-19 period. Solidarity being “doing your best for something or someone else other than yourself and to take care of people and what is around you.”
Ideas for the ‘Give Back Award’ will be judged according to the criteria below:
- Viability (30%): The idea is viable and can realistically be implemented.It demonstrates consideration of potential obstacles to implementation/adoption and has proposed convincing solutions to address these challenges.
- Potential for Impact (30%): The proposed idea addresses the present situation and the applicant/applicants provide enough argument to make the idea address the need.
- Community Familiarity (20%): The individual/s demonstrate/s familiarity with the community they plan to address.
- Quality and Creativity (20%): The proposed idea is innovative, the overall merit of this idea is high and this is an idea worth investing in.
Individuals or groups of three to five young people between 18 to 30 years of age can apply online.
Aġenzija Żgħażagħ will award €500 to the best solidarity idea after its implementation, as well as give a number of €100 awards for other ideas which it considers interesting and score high during the assessment phase. The young people with the best ideas will be assigned a youth worker to coach them further on how to implement and promote the idea.
The decline for applications is the 30th April 2020.
