Għargħur double murder: Siblings choose not to testify in the case against accused

Christoph Schwaiger

On Wednesday the court presided by Magistrate Monica Vella continued to hear the case of the two women that were murdered in Għargħur on the 23rd of July of this year.

The previous two dates had been postponed as the court was still awaiting documents from the attorney general’s office.

Both the brother and the sister of the accused choose not to testify in the case against their sibling, something which is allowed by court considering the proximity of their relationship.

The case has been adjourned to the 21st of November at 12.30pm.
