Fundación MAPFRE announces grants to carry out health promotion research projects

Fundación MAPFRE has launched a new edition of the research aid programme for an amount of €240,000, aimed at researchers or research teams in the academic and professional field who wish to develop programs independently or within the framework of universities, hospitals, companies or centres to which they are attached.

The foundation offers its Ignacio H. Larramendi grants, individually endowed with a maximum of €30,000, to promote projects related to health, such as the prevention of obesity and the promotion of physical activity, the assessment of bodily damage, health management and clinical safety, among others.

In this call, those projects that, taking into account the previous thematic lines, incorporate aspects related to COVID-19 such as: reduction of infections, self-care and the culture of self-protection, relationship between previous health status (lifestyle) and morbidity and mortality, COVID-19 and mental health and so on, will be considered.

The scope of this call is worldwide and projects can be submitted in Spanish, English and Portuguese until the 30th October 2020.
