Tista' taqra bil- Malti.
Malta’s President George Vella, and his wife Miriam, brought up the Fun Run’s aim to unite Malta to achieve one goal: raise money for those who need it. This practice in unity thus disregards political colours.
During an interview with Newsbook.com.mt, they stressed the importance of unity during such an event. The President expressed that he feared the event would be sabotaged, saying that this was almost the case with l-Istrina in December.
He appealed that everyone ought to take part, because in unity there is strength, self-esteem and courage.
The Fun Run will take place tomorrow at 10am. It is recommended that one uses public transport. Anyone wearing the Fun Run t-shirt will be allowed on board for free on Sunday 26th January.
