Tista' taqra bil- Malti.
The Jubilate Deo Choir will be keeping its Christmastide appointment with a number of concerts and liturgical services.
The choir’s main annual Christmas concert (organist Ronald Camilleri, conductor Christopher Muscat) will be held on Monday 16th December at the Collegiate Parish Church of Naxxar and on Friday 20th December at St John’s Co-Cathedral, courtesy of the St John Co-Cathedral Foundation. Alongside the trademark yuletide carols, the varied programme of works – ranging from Baroque to contemporary – is also intended to highlight the particularly beautiful but contrasting sounds of the 1775 Santucci organ in Naxxar and the Co-Cathedral’s mighty Mascioni which, for this occasion, will be joined by the Jubilate Deo Brass Consort.
Various liturgical services with the participation of the Jubilate Deo Choir will take place on Christmas eve (Collegiate Parish of Naxxar and Metropolitan Cathedral, Mdina) and Christmas day (St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta). Entrance to the concerts is free of charge. Stiletto or narrow heels are not allowed at St John’s.
