Fgura local council given one month to make submissions to PA

Fgura local council has been given a month to formally make its submissions to the Appeals Board.

The local council participated in a virtual hearing before the Planning Authority concerning the future of a “historic farmhouse” on Hompesch Road corner with Bormla Road, Fgura.

In a statement on Thursday, the local council insisted that it should be given the opportunity to make its submissions before the Appeals Board, highlighting the importance of this building in the locality.

The board of appeal has upheld the request by the local council granting it a month’s time to make its submission.

The local council said it was committed to protect its local heritage and ensure that the residents continue to enjoy the historic farmhouse.
