Jean Pierre Debono is an honourable man. He gave up his parliamentary seat for his leader. His wife does not share her husband’s sense of loyalty. When push comes to shove she chooses Joseph Muscat over Adrian Delia. Shameful!
While Delia strongly supports England 🏴, Muscat (according to Parliamentary Secretary Clifton Grima) strongly supports France 🇫🇷. On such a matter of principle Kristy Debono abandons her leader and rushes into the embrace of the enemy who says Vive la France.
Et tu Kristy, was Delia’s anguished cry.
And can one blame him? Surly no solace because Minister Michael Farrugia is on his side. Given a choice between Kristy and Farrugia who would choose Farrugia? Worse still… Delia’s dream of an England 🏴 victory is supported by David – photocopier – Agius, Mario Galea and Anthony Agius Decelis.
Muscat has all the luck. Rosianne Cutajar is also on his side. It compensates for the presence of Marlene – Thorn in his side – Farrugia. Clyde Puli and Fredrick Azzopardi also betrayed their leader. Wannabe ministers the likes of Chris Agius, Aaron Farrugia, Etienne Grech and Clifton Grima jumped on their leader’s bandwagon.
Alexander – sitting on the fence – Muscat sagely (or cowardly) says either one of the other will win.
Simon Busuttil, Owen Bonnici and Ryan Callus the champions of the underdogs chose Belgium 🇧🇪 that did not even make it to the final.
Byron Camilleri u Josè Herrera Croatia 🇭🇷.
More losers… Carmelo – Verandah – Abela, Ian – hug a 🌳 a day – Borg, Roderick Galdes, Karl Gouder and Chris – from a different planet – Said thought that Brazil 🇧🇷would win the cup. Robert Arrigo chose Uruguay🇺🇾.
