Gozitan Bishop Mario Grech, said this generation put human life at risk to make money.
In the homily of Fr. Arthur J. Vella SJ’s mass, who died last month, Mons. Grech said that many are left bewildered when they hear Jesus telling them to forgive and pray for their enemies
He explained that Jesus is asking us things that are against human nature because it is not easy to still loves one’s enemies. The Bishop said that these circumstances are tough and often we observe the sins of others and forget about our sins.
Mgr. Grech explained that confirmation of being in line with God’s teachings is to find peace.
