ELT Council ends in-person services due to increase in coronavirus cases

The English Language Teaching (ELT) council has ended its in-person services due to an increase in coronavirus cases in Malta.

In an email seen by Newsbook.com.mt the ELT council said that its offices will be closed to the public for in-person services. Applications will still be processed by email and post.

​The mission of the ELT Council for ELT Schools is to foster the ELT profession and industry in all its various aspects.​ Its premises are located within the Ministry for Education and Employment (MEDE).

Nursing union MUMN said that Malta is risking another partial lockdown if it keeps registering a large amount of new coronavirus cases.
