Early Christmas Present for Ocean Basket Client

Christmas came early for Ocean Basket client Carmen Borg, who was announced the lucky winner of a 10-day trip for two to South Africa.

The competition, organised by Ocean Basket in collaboration with Emirates Airlines, ran throughout October and November and attracted the participation of thousands of clients.

Carmen’s ticket was the first randomly drawn on Friday 7th December in the presence of Notary Katya Bezzina.  She was declared the official winner after correctly answering a question about the restaurant’s menu.

Carmen will be passing on the prize to her son Daniel who, together with a friend, will be embarking on a trip of a lifetime to South Africa next February.  The holiday will include accommodation in a Cape Town hotel, together with several guided tours to Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, Robben Island, Table Mountain and Cape Town City.

The pair will also experience the thrill of a Wildlife Safari trip and sample famous South African wines at the Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl Vineyards.

Daniel and his friend will also be treated to lunches at Ocean Basket restaurants in Cape Town.
