Tista' taqra bil- Malti.
Transport Malta has launched an online portal which would allow users to apply for their driving learner permit and book their tests without needing to call in person at the authority’s office to fill in the forms.
The portal is aimed at facilitating the application process and reduce the need for applicants to fill in physical forms or call in person at the Authority’s offices, a Transport Malta statement read. The portal may be accessed by motoring schools and medical doctors to apply, certify or submit any necessary documentation on behalf of the applicants.
Students can now also apply online to sit for the theory exam.
Earlier this week, Transport Malta announced that both theory and practical tests for driving could resume, after these were suspended for a few weeks. The tests will take place subject to certain conditions. Those taking the theory exam have to book the test online as drop ins will no longer be accepted. These will be held in a new building in Triq Nazzjonali, Ħamrun.
The new building is more spacious and provides all the facilities enabling the students to sit for the exam with ease of mind. The health authorities have prepared guidelines to reduce the risk of spreading the virus, Transport Malta said.
Tests can be booked either online or by calling on 21227190.
