Documents may be submitted after applications’ deadline, Parliamentary Secretariat for EU funds says

The Parliamentary Secretariat for European Funds said that any documentation previously listed as obligatory and which is required when filing in applications under Sub-Measure 4.1 – Support for Investment in Agricultural Holdings included in the Programme of Measures for Rural Development 2014-2020, may be submitted after the closing date of the applications.

The application deadline is 30 April. However the Parliamentary Secretariat responsible said acknowledged that various applicants have encountered difficulties in acquiring documents and filing in the applications. The secretariat explained that during the evaluation process, applicants will be asked to submit the documents that were not submitted by the closing date.

The Parliamentary Secretariat for European Funds is continuing its support to the local rural community with more calls for European funds for this sector.

The investments include the acquisition of equipment and machinery that facilitates working in agriculture and which leave a positive impact on our environment, the Parliamentary Secretariat explained.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the managing authority responsible for the Rural Development Programme Funds intends to open applications for Sub-Measure 4.1 funds in the coming months.
