“I went through what my patients experience” said Dr Joe Ferrigi, a family doctor that recovered from Covid-19.
Dr Ferrigi was sharing his experience during a visit by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Chris Fearne at his residence in Rabat.
The family doctor, with over 38 years of practice said that the experience thought him that materialism is meaningless.
At a time when family gatherings are usually planned for Christmas and New Year, Dr Ferrigi appealed for caution. “We need to make on last sacrifice till the vaccine is available” he said.
He emphasized the importance of asking medical advice from professionals and not rely on hear-say from the grocery store.
Dr Ferrigi thanked all the medical staff at the Mater Dei Hospital for their assistance during his stay.
