“Disappointed that EU member leaders did not come to an agreement about immigration” – Delia

PN

The Nationalist Party’s (PN) leader, Adrian Delia, said that it is a disappointment that throughout the last European summit, leaders of countries which form part of the European Union (EU) did not manage to agree upon how to best share the burden of immigration.

Delia said that this should be manadatory rather than voluntary.

He said this during a visit to the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) which supports countries which form part of the EU.

Delia insisted that the Government is obligated to ensure that the EU is exploring all options in terms of irregular immigration.
