Debenhams has announced a new sponsorship agreement with the Royal Malta Golf Club’s Ladies Golf section. This latest initiative is part of Debenham’s commitment to supporting women in Malta in their passions and pursuits, from sport to health and well being.
“Nothing is more beautiful than women following their passion,” said Maryna Korzhenevska, General Manager of United Department Stores Ltd., which represents Debenhams in Malta, “Whether it’s sports or fashion, we believe women in Malta deserve our support as they reach for their dreams.”
Debenhams sponsorship of the Royal Malta Golf Club Ladies’ Section extends into 2020, culminating in the 2020 edition of the Ladies Club Championship.
“The Royal Malta Golf Club is delighted to enter into a mutually beneficial sponsorship agreement with United Department Stores Ltd. who will be sponsoring up to 7 individual events in the 2019/20 ladies golf calendar, including the 2020 edition of the ladies club championship. The RMGC is proud to be associated with a company who are keen to support local sport,” said Phil Luxon, General Manager at the Royal Malta Golf Club.
This new collaboration is just one of many recent corporate social responsibility initiatives undertaken by United Group, including a Pink October fundraising campaign for Europa Donna and an annual sports day for adults living in day centres.
