Deaths by Covid-19 rise to 125

Eight lose their battle in the last 24 hours

Three elderly persons lost their battle to Covid-19, the Ministry of Health announced.  

In the first case, a 70-year-old man, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on 1 November, died last evening at Mater Dei Hospital. 

 The second case, an 87-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 16, died earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital. 

The third case, a 67-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 5, died earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.  

The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the families of the elderly, calls for everyone to follow preventive measures, thus protecting the most vulnerable in our society. This brings the total number of deaths to 125.
