Constitutional case Fenech vs Arnaud; Court to decide in September

Another sitting in the constitutional proceedings initiated by murder suspect Yorgen Fenech is taking place on this morning.

Yorgen Fenech initiated the proceedings to remove lead investigator Police Inspector Keith Arnaud from the murder investigation into the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.

During the last court sitting, on the 11th of February, husband of the murdered journalist, Peter Caruana Galizia said that they have full confidence in Keith Arnaud and Kurt Zahra.

Also, Arnaud told the court that he used to keep former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat updated on the case and pardoned middleman Melvin Theuma and Yorgen Fenech have both revealed that former Assistant Commissioner Silvio Valletta was leaking information.
