COVID-19: 96 new cases; Active cases at 2,034

Health authorities announced that Malta registered 96 new coronavirus cases on Thursday. This brings the number of active cases at 2,034

It was also reported that 2,909 swab tests were carried out in the past 24 hours and 128 more patients have made a recovery.

On Thursday morning, health authorities announced that two COVID-19 patients have died due to coronavirus. This brings the number of coronavirus victims in Malta up to 148.

The cases announced on Thursday are still being investigated.
