Corruption is cancer that undermines the dignity of the person, Pope Francis said on International Day Against Corruption on Monday.
“Corruption undermines the dignity of the person and shatters all good and beautiful ideals,” Pope Francis wrote on Twitter.
Pope Francis called upon all of society to make a concrete commitment to combat the cancer of corruption. Adding that corruption impoverishes everyone while it gives the illusion of quick and easy profits.
