A total of 28 new COVID-19 cases have been reported today, 19 of which are asylum seekers who tested positive on their arrival to Malta yesterday.

Health authorities separated the asylum seekers from those within the community or other clusters. The official data for cases in the community, therefore, reads 55 active cases. When one includes the asylum seekers, the data would read 140 active.
